How it works
Before, during and after a ceremony that lasts twenty minutes
Mikayla arrives before you do, photographs the room and the arrivals, and works out where she can stand without getting in the way. Register offices vary in what they allow during the ceremony itself, so she checks with the registrar first and works within it.
The ceremony is photographed from where the picture is: the vows, the hands, the signing, the first kiss and the walk back down the aisle, without a flash and without anyone being asked to do anything twice.

The part most people forget to plan for
The hour after a civil ceremony is often the best of the day: confetti on the steps, the family groups organised quickly, a walk somewhere nearby for photographs of the two of you, then the meal or the pub. A booking of a few hours covers all of it.

Which register offices do you cover?
Any in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties, including Beaconsfield, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes register offices, and civil ceremonies at licensed venues. Further afield is fine too; ask when you enquire.
How many hours do we need for a registry office wedding?
Most couples book between two and four hours: half an hour before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, then the confetti, groups and a walk afterwards. If a meal or party follows, add the hours you want covered.
Can you photograph during the ceremony?
Usually, from the sides and without flash, but each register office sets its own rules. Mikayla confirms with the registrar on the day and works within whatever they allow.
What does civil ceremony photography cost?
From £80 per hour. Shorter bookings are priced simply by the hours you need, with no minimum package.
